This recipe is good used as a taco filling or also as a main pulled pork entrée.

Time needed: 9 hrs (crock pot dish)

Ingredients:

–        4-5 lbs pork shoulder
–        5 gloves of garlic
–        1 Tablespoon of salt
–        1 teaspoon cumin
–        1 teaspoon chili powder
–        1 teaspoon black pepper
–        1 teaspoon oregano
–        ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
–        ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
–        1 tablespoon hot sauce
–        Juice of 2 limes
–        12 oz beer
–        ½ cup salsa
–        ½ cup of orange juice

Instructions:

  1. Chop the garlic and mix in small bowl with all of the dry seasonings.
  2. Place pork in crock pot and run in garlic and seasonings.
  3. Add in liquids
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  5. Shred meat and cook for one more hour.
  6. Preheat boiler.
  7. Line baking sheet with foil and place meat evenly. Add a few spoonful’s of sauce from crockpot.
  8. Broil 7-10 minutes until edges are brown and crisp.
